Daniel Faraci

Board President

From the onset of Daniels' education and political career he was able to volunteer on many local, state, and federal campaigns across the country. Those opportunities spurred his successful educational background at Baylor University, where he earned a BA in International Relations and an MPPA in Public Policy and Administration.

Carlos Curbelo

Board Member

Carlos Curbelo was born in Miami, Florida in 1980, to political refugees who fled tyranny and oppression in Cuba. He was educated in the public school system and then at Belen Jesuit. In 1998 he enrolled at the University of Miami where he obtained a Bachelor’s in Business Administration while majoring in Political Science. He later returned to UM to earn a Masters in Public Administration.

Russ Sullivan is one of the top tax attorneys and advocates in the country. When companies face risks in Washington, D.C., they turn to Russ to develop creative solutions that save their industry. For Fortune 50 companies, start-ups and national trade associations alike, Russ translates federal policy and the U.S. tax code for clients’ boards and members and identifies untapped opportunities.

Daniel Faraci’s employment experience has been with consulting and managing local, state, and federal campaigns, grassroots and coalitions-based advocacy and lobbying on Capitol Hill and in Arizona, California, Florida, Texas and Wisconsin for a national small business trade association, and a vast array of entrepreneurial and humanitarian-affiliated clients and projects as well. His career also included serving in the intelligence community in counterterrorism operations and investigations with NCIS. Based upon these diverse experiences, he continues to enhance his capabilities in management and strategic consulting of U.S. House, Senate and Presidential political campaigns across the United States, as well as in the Middle East and European Union regions. Simultaneously, he has spent a few years teaching Political Science, History, and Criminal Justice/Homeland Security at the University level.

In addition, he has attained further expertise by transforming his career to successfully federal and state-based lobbying and issue advocacy campaigns in health care, tax, finance, defense, IT and economic development issues representing both domestic and international clients for nearly 17 years. Daniel Faraci currently serves as the CEO of Grassroots Political Consulting LLC (https://grassrootspc.com), which was credited on the list of top lobbyists of 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023 from The Hill. He appears regularly on international television broadcasts as a political analyst. He is also a frequent public speaker, serves as Board President of the Trans-Atlantic Parliamentary Group and serves on the Board of EUROCSE (European Centre for the Study of Extremism, Cambridge, UK, www.eurocse.org) and the Political Festival of Europe (www.pfoe.org).
In 2002, Carlos founded a public and media relations firm which he led successfully for 12 years. In 2010, he was elected to represent his community on the Miami-Dade County School Board, and in 2014 he was elected to Congress where he served until January of 2019. In Congress Carlos was consistently ranked one of the most bipartisan Members of Congress and led on difficult issues like climate policy, immigration, gun reform, and tax policy. He was also a prominent voice in international affairs and chaired the House’s Brazil Caucus. In 2017, Curbelo was honored by the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation with the New Frontier Award for his work promoting bipartisan cooperation on environmental policy.

Today Carlos co-leads Vocero and serves as an on-air analyst for NBC NEWS, MSNBC, Telemundo, NBC6 and Telemundo 51. Carlos has been married to his wife Cecilia since 2006. They have two daughters Sylvie and Carolina.
Russ provides clients with clarity when they need it most, offers critical information for developing smart business strategies, and engages the Treasury Department and tax-writing committees on Capitol Hill to advance clients’ domestic and international tax priorities.

In addition to advocating on tax policy, Russ represents clients’ interests on health care, pension planning, trade, energy, financial services and economic development policies. He worked firsthand on many of these issues during his 14 years of service on the Senate Finance Committee. During his time in Congress, Russ saw some of the most important issues within the business community come before the committee and helped draft landmark legislation such as the 2001 tax legislation, the 2005 and 2007 Energy Policy Acts, and the Affordable Care Act, Russ leverages these expertise’s to provide clients with contextual insight into current tax and health care policy debates.

Russ is passionate about fostering at-risk youth; he has served as legal guardian for 22 teenagers, and has continually fought for an increase in the adoption tax credit. He proudly serves on the board of directors for the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute.
